Reserves and Economic Evaluations
Geological, engineering and production history data is used to determine reserve estimates, production forecasts, cashflow analysis (discounted) and provide a Net Present Value (NPV) of the remaining reserves, assess drilling opportunities, field development, enhanced recovery projects and other investment opportunities.
Freehold Royalty Revenue Evaluations
Assess future freehold (FH) royalty revenues, based on estimated remaining production from existing wells, to support clients’ investment decisions and their financial and estate planning processes.
Acquisition and Disposition Evaluations
Perform engineering, geological and economic analysis to help clients assess potential producing property acquisition or disposition opportunities and land acquisitions (land sales).
Independent Valuations & Reserve Audits
Perform independent evaluations or audits of the clients remaining reserves valuations, and internal processes to support company reporting, internal or external, and investment decision processes. This includes the preparation of reports compliant with National Instrument 51-101 Standards of Disclosure for Oil and Gas Activities, Form 51-101F1 Statement of Reserves Data and Other Oil and Gas Information, and Form 51-101F2 Report on Reserves Data by Independent Qualified Reserves Evaluator or Auditor.
Engineering Audits of Unitization Projects
Provide support and advice to mineral interest owners that may be affected by oil field unitization activities and implementation of improved production recovery projects.
Field Development Economic Assessments
Assess various field development alternatives based on engineering, geological and economic analysis of estimated recoverable reserves to support clients’ investment decisions and development planning processes.
Company Merger – Provided engineering and economic evaluation services to a small local oil and gas exploration company, including estimations of the remaining technically recoverable reserves and determination of the NPV of several Saskatchewan producing oil properties, to support potential company merger considerations.
Crown Mineral Rights – Provided estimates of remaining technically recoverable reserves and NPV of remaining proved producing reserves to support investment decisions and provided an initial Type Play evaluation to support potential Saskatchewan Crown land sale acquisitions.
Freehold (FH) Mineral Rights – Provided independent estimates of future freehold revenues expected from producing oil wells, for various freehold mineral rights owners in south-east Saskatchewan, to support their investment decisions and financial & estate planning. One evaluation identified a significant amount of royalty interest revenue that had not been paid to the royalty interest owners.
Asset Acquisitions – Provided engineering and economic evaluation support to a Saskatchewan based company, including estimates of remaining technically recoverable reserves and NPV of remaining proved producing reserves and of potential resources/reserves for non-producing and undrilled properties in Western Canada and the northern United States to support acquisition investment decisions and strategies.
